What is the role of infrastructure in
supporting the journey to net zero?
In order to reach net zero emissions, the
sources of the UK's energy supply must
dramatically change. At present the UK uses
energy from carbon heavy sources but all
these must be decarbonised, or 'clean', in order
for the UK to be considered carbon neutral.
The National Grid will play a pivotal role here.
32 per cent of our survey respondents felt
that improvements to the National Grid would
have a significant benefit to their business and
76 per cent of our survey respondents were
confident that the National Grid could satisfy
future electricity demands.
